Thesis Process Evaluation

I started my Thesis working on my Green Business Video, Photo, Certified Web Development Service -
Oak5 Productions and my Green and Sustainable Eco-Gardening, Native and Organic Landscaping, Groundskeeping, and Mindful/Compassionate Animal Care Services.

I have been a Professional Videographer, Photographer, and Web Developer for Code Pink Women 4 Peace and Code Pink Bay Area, The Hopland Women's Festival, Bay Area Pride Parades/Marches, Bay Area Peace Rallys, and for KPFA 94.1 Free Speech Radio.

I have also practiced these services for The Bioneers Conference, The Solar Living Institute's SolFest, The Health and Harmony Festival, The Green Festivals, The Sustainable World Coaltion Symposium, New College of California, The We The Planet Festival, and The Circle of Life Foundation.

My work has been published nationally and locally in books, magazines, newspapers, and brochures. I've also produced 15 local photo/slide shows. You may view samples of my work online by Clicking Here.

I have also been a Professional Green and Sustainable Eco-Gardener, Native and Organic Landscaper, Groundskeeper, and Mindful/Compassionate Animal Care Service Provider. I received some training at Merritt College, through several years of apprenticeship, and operating my own business. I was also born and raised in the country on a 76 acre farm near Syracuse, New York (Skaneateles, NY). I believe in Systems Thinking/Theories and my work reflects my awareness of the benefit of working in harmony with the land and with animals.

While continuing my education at New College of California and working in these areas, I realized that I could take my experience, skills, talents, knowlege, and Eco-Visionary ideas to a greater level...

Green Event and Festival Production, Promotion, and Coordination in the North Bay and Bay Areas. My 15 years of work with Bill Graham Presents, my own event production experience, and my work with local Green Festivals and Events has provided me with a firm foundation for this career path and life's work. In addition, my education and life process of recycling, reducing, reusing, restoring, rethinking, and respecting has expanded. I believe we must all gain a higher awareness of our relationship to our Home, the Planet Earth. We need to consider our interconnectedness with this planet, Mother Earth. In my own experience, I thought of my relationship with my mother, Susan ~ the woman who co-created me and gave me the greatest gift of all - Life.

Similarly, the planet Earth ~ Our Home and Mother gives us the Gift of Life Everyday!

From the ground we walk on, drive on, live on -

- to the food we eat (which in turn keeps us healthy and thriving);
- to the water we drink (one of the basic necessities of all life forms);
- to the air we breathe (another basic need for all life forms);
- to the trees and other natural life forms (who give their lives so that we can have
     shelter and other items in our daily lives);
- to the creatures great and smal who reside on this planet with us (who hope that we can have
     the consciousness to respect and live in harmony with them).

It is our Human Service to create ways in which we can grow and learn to treat our Mother with the Compassion, Love, Respect, and Dignity that She so deserves. We must be the creative force who changes and manifests our destiny and our planets destiny. We must work in connection and harmony with Her and Our Allies to keep this wonderful and miraculous Home and Ourselves alive for generations to come.

In working with other Eco-Visionaries and Allies, Bioneers, and other Green Festival Producers ~ I hope to share Our Vision and Sustainable Way of Life with as many people as possible.
